I’ve been doing CrossFit for two and a half years, and I can honestly say that I can’t see myself NOT doing it now. I was interested through friends that were doing it so I asked the right questions and eventually went in. Yes it was immediately humbling but I was instantly hooked. Yes it was new level of sore for about two weeks but I kept going- and still keep going for several reasons. Structure- programming is specific to a well rounded physical experience.
Community- I’ve never experienced a group of people as encouraged about each other’s progress as this. Schedule- you can count on the same community and programming to be absolutely consistent. Challenge- you will do things that you’ve never done, and be able to do things that you never thought you could. Given all these things, over the last two and a half years, I’ve not only gained strength, but also dexterity, and personal confidence. It has also allowed me to be a great role model for my athletic children, and created a bond that helps us all encourage each other.
Personal fitness has been a part of my life for the majority of it, but I’ve never been happier about the shape I’m in as I am right now, thanks in part to CrossFit Unparalleled and the staff. The coaches are knowledgeable, dedicated, and always willing to help anyone who needs it. The members are also welcoming and extremely motivated. The programming consists of a wide variety of strength, mobility, and endurance movements- total body fitness concept. It’s definitely taken my fitness to another level and encouraged me to seek out new challenges as I continue to grow.
